Dear Sisters,

We always enjoy hearing lessons taught by Sister Allison Nelson.  This week we discussed lesson #9 Open Your Soul to the Lord in Prayer out of the George Albert Smith manual.  We talked about ways to teach our children to pray (example being one important one), and how to make praying a more sincere experience.  

Next week there is no lesson due to the special Stake Conference at the Stake Center @ 10am.

Please remember to pray for our Focus Five sisters by name. 

Congratulations to Rozalyn Woods and family on the birth of their baby boy Caleb last Saturday.  He was just under 8 lbs. All are doing well.

Happy Birthday this week to Naomi Bennett (May 15th) and Milimo Reed (May 19th).

This Week In Announcements:

Friday May 18th-Saturday May 19th: Father/child Campout@ Crestline at Palomar.  This is the same location as the ward campout last fall.  You may also just send your husband even if you don't have kids or don't want to send your kids. 

Sunday May 20th: Special Stake Conference10am at the Stake Center.  We will be having a special meeting with the stake and will have a general authority there as well.  There will be no regular church services on this day.

Thursday May 31: Style Swap & Mingle6:30pm We'll be mingling and swapping women's clothing and accessories, kids' clothing, decorations, household items and anything else.  Don't have anything to swap?  That's OKAY!  Just come and see if there's anything you want or just come and mingle.  Unclaimed items will be donated to Deseret Industries.  Nursery will be provided.  Questions?  Contact Julina julinam@gmail.com.
