Thank you Sister Katie Johnson for teaching the lesson on faith, family and relief.  She shared insights into talks given by Sister Julie B. Beck in the 2007 General Conference "What Latter-Day Saint Women Do Best: Stand Strong and Immovable"

Announcements for this week:

Sunday December 11th: Annual Stake Christmas Fireside
7pm  at the Pacific Beach Building 5151 Fanuel St. Several of our ward members are singing in this concert!  Come and support them and enjoy a wonderful Christmas concert. We need one more sister to bring 3 dozen cookies to the fireside and to drop off in the kitchen @ 6:30pm.  This will also get you a good seat!  Please respond to this email if you are willing to do this.
Mark Your Calendar:

Monday December 12th: Christmas Caroling with the Taylors4pm Meet in the lobby of the Taylor's buiding, 8775 Costa Verde.  The whole family is welcome. Please bring any jingle bells you have and please wear Christmas attire. Since they Taylors have red cumberbunds and bow ties for the kids, they prefer children to wear white button down shirts with dark pants/skirts.  We'll sing at the skilled nursing facility next door and will be treated with refreshments and then come back to the Taylors for a brief FHE lesspn and hot cider!

Sunday December 25th: Church Service Schedule
11am Sacrament Meeting.  No other meetings will be held that day.

Please report your visiting teaching for the month of November!

The Gehmlich's need someone to sit with their children at the Christmas fireside next Sunday @ 7pm.  We are both in the choir.  You will not need to transport them anywhere, just sit with them, so if you plan on going and are willing to take on a couple extra kids, please let me know.  This could get you some good seats since we'll be there early to warm-up!  abomb36@hotmail.com
