Sister Spotlight

Meet Julina!

Julina is transitioning to our ward from the YSA and says that the sisters here have made it easier than she anticipated! She moved here about a year ago for a job at ProFlowers and will stay as long as she's got a challenge!

Here are a few more insights into this new sister:

1. Q: If you had two hours completely to yourself, what might we find you doing?

A: If I had two hours to myself, which I often have, you'd probably find me going for a long run on the beach at La Jolla Shores.

2. Q: Do you have a favorite Conference Talk? Why?

A: One of my favorite talks is "The Tender Mercies of the Lord" given by Elder Bednar during the April 2005 General Conference. That talk challenged my perspective on actively recognizing God's hand in my life.

3. Q: If you could give yourself advice 5 years ago, what would it be?

A: Everything is going to work out better than you could imagine. Just enjoy the ride and don't worry about the speed bumps. And... never feel guilty about skipping the gym and just taking a nap.  :)

Thanks for sharing with us Julina! We all look forward to getting to know you even better, and hopefully taking your advice about the nap! ;)
