Dear Sisters,
We had a wonderful combined meeting today taught by President Clayton, president of the San Diego mission. He talked about overcoming our fear to share something special with our friends. We love them. We were encouraged to continue to pray for missionary opportunities as our stake leaders have asked, but to also open our mouths. We were all asked to pray every day at noon for the next two weeks for the Spirit to guide us in our efforts to seek out those who have been prepared and are preparing to receive the gospel message. We will end these two weeks on Fast Sunday (the Sunday after conference) by fasting as well for this same purpose. Thank you Bishop Taylor and President Clayton for this challenge.

Friday-6pm chapel session, 6:30pm and 8:30pm Stake Endowment Session. This is a great way to prepare for General Conference!

Friday October 21st: Annual Ward Campout (NEW DATE!)
2:00pm @ Crestline at Palomar. We will send out a separate email this week detailing the events, location and logistics of this activity. Please take the opportunity to invite friends and those you visit teach.This is the same location as last year's campout and the father son/daughter campout. Come and get to know everyone in the ward. This is a fun activity for everyone.

We have been encouraged to find one family name to take to the San Diego Temple with us. We have two months to achieve this goal!
