Meet Ariana
Ariana has just moved into the ward in June with her husband and 1 yr. old son. They both will be working as he finishes his degree at UCSD.
Here are a few more tidbits that Ariana has shared with us:
Q: If you had a couple of hours to yourself, what would we find you doing?
A: Attempting to be productive... ha! But I often dream of a lazy day at the beach accompanied by a basket of delectable goodies!
Q: If you could give yourself 5 years ago, what might it be?
A: That would have been just a little before I was baptized, and I would tell myself that I was on the right path, and to have patience in my afflictions because Heavenly Father is always looking out for me. Not that anything could have really deterred me from entering the waters of baptism, but the adversary knew that I was making a very important and powerful decision, one that would affect and shape my future into one of infinite possibility.
Q: What is your favorite scripture passage?
A: The one that comes to me right now is Alma 37: 36-37
"Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and withersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.
Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day."
Thank you Ariana for sharing with us this month, and welcome to our Relief Society!
