Heidi just moved here with her husband and two girls back in September. Many of you have seen Heidi's amazing massage skills at one of our most recent RS meetings, but if you didn't, she is great and takes her craft very seriously. Heidi is constantly coming up with fun activities for the kids in the co-op and is just really great with children. I asked Heidi three questions to help us get to know her better.
Q: If you had a couple hours to yourself, what would we find you doing?
A: Uh, probably nothing. Puttering around maybe, probably cleaning or perhaps reading a book. (That was Heidi's first answer. The idea of two hours alone for many of us is just not fathomable. After some more thought...) I would probably be reading a book, getting a massage or watching a movie.
Q: What was your favorite conference talk?
A: What Manner of Men and Women Ought Ye to Be? by Lynn G. Robbins of the Seventy.
Q: If you could give yourself advice 5 years ago, what would it be?
A: Have patience when praying for things and waiting for answers. When you are praying about something to see if it's the best choice, excitement about something doesn't necessarily mean that it's the right decision. You could be working really hard at trying to get the answer to your prayer, but you have to remember to be patient. Patience is required to get the answer.
Thank you Heidi so much for sharing a little bit of yourself with us. You are a wonderful woman and we're glad to have you in our Relief Society.
