Relief Society Updates April 25th

Dear Sisters,

We had a great lesson yesterday in our joint Relief Society-Priesthood meeting. President Sorensen of the Temple Presidency spoke to us and urged us to remember just how important the temple is and make it a priority in our lives. We owe a big thanks to Sister Taylor and the Bishop for arranging for him to join us.

Announcements:

This Saturday (April 30th) is the Helping Hands service project. President Eyring spoke about it during conference. This is a church-wide project and we hope that you will participate and invite all of your friends. Our ward will be cleaning up at Doyle park from 8 am until noon. We're providing breakfast and playcare. Even if you can't make it for the whole time we would love to see your smiling faces for part of the morning on Saturday.

There are still open spots for the temple on both Tuesday morning and evening. We need 3 sisters and 4 brothers for the morning and one sister and 2 brothers for the evening. Please contact Sarah Darby if you can attend and if babysitting is all you need please contact Sallee Mathews (sallee030@hotmail.com).

We hope that you had a wonderful Easter. It is a wonderful time of year to reflect on the atonement of the Savior and the hope that his resurrection brings.

We love you,
Sallee, Deb, Erin and Andrea
