Sewing Group!

Tis time again for another sewing group. We will be meeting Thursday January 8 at 7 in the RS room of the church.
Our project this month is totes. I have three options:
A beach bag--something larger enough to hold all you beach stuff in one bag, a tote similar to what you would find at the groceries store (but cuter) and a cute little tote with a picture here. I would ideally like to show how to do one of these. If you have an opinion on which you would like, please let me know otherwise I will do the tote similar to what you find at the grocery store. To do this one you will need a durable enough matterial that it can hold up under some weight. I would suggest something along the lines of a light weight canvus. If you want to see what i have done you are welcome to swing by, but I am out of town until Monday (I will try and take a picture and post it later today or tomorrow.) You need something for the strap (I used a wide ribbon, but there are other options too.) I think you need 24 inches of material, but I am not sure. Unfortunately I don't have the pattern with me, but I will email out the amount of material you will need on Sunday or Monday.
See you all next week.
