Dear Sisters,

Thank you Taci Durrant for teaching the lesson on Obedience out of the Gospel Principles Manual. Taci reminded us that to be obedient without knowing all the answers, if done with faith, is not blind obedience.  We are also asked to do simple things that yield great blessings and sometimes we give up those blessings because the task is too simple to obey.  When we do obey, regardless of how simple it seems, we are richly blessed.  Many sisters shared experiences of how they were obedient to the Spirit.  Thank you sisters for the inspiring discussion.

Good news Minute:  Congrats to Alice Clawson and family.  Corbin graduated!  Amy O'Keefe didn't receive a grant which is bad news, but turns out to be good news so she can stay here in the US with her two new little babies! Michele Chesley's little baby Keaton started walking this week!

Congrats to Jenn Moyle and family.  They welcomed their baby girl Avery to the world last Wednesday @ 7:34pm.  She was 7lbs. 6oz. and 20 in. long.

Happy Birthday this week to Linnea Allen (May 23rd) and Debs Aplanalp (May 26th)!
This Week in Announcements:
Tonight: Temple fireside by Sealer and San Diego Architect Bill Lewis
7:00pm Brother Lewis will be speaking on symbolism in the temple, specifically some of the visual symbols found in the San Diego temple.  The fireside will be held in the Relief Society room of our ward building.  Nursery and light refreshments will be provided.
