Thank you Lindsay Rutman for the great lesson based on Elder Holland's talk from Conference 2007 The Tongue of Angels. We were reminded that our words have power for good and evil. We were inspired to to uplift and strengthen others with our words. Thank you everyone for your thoughtful commentary.

This Week in Announcements:Sunday May 22nd, 7:00 PM: Temple fireside by Sealer & San Diego Temple Architect Bill Lewis. Nursery will be provided. Bill Lewis worked very closely with President Hinckley in the desigining of the temple and he will tell us about the symbolism and will answer questions. This really will be an amazing event.

Saturday May 21, 9:00 a.m. Andie Kalinowski is speaking at the Poway Stake Center to the Relief Society and any sisters from our ward or not of our faith are welcomed to attend. The address is 15705 Pomerado Rd, Poway, CA 92064. She is amazing! Everyone loved the message she shared when she came and spoke to our Relief Society in March. She has been asked to speak dozens and dozens of times from what she has told me. The message she shares is centered on the Savior and truly is inspiring. She has helped so many sisters, families, & patients she treats on how to be happy

Fridays: Stake Coed Volleyball at the Stake Building
6:30pm Members of the stake are looking for more participants to play!! Make a date of it and get in the gym! Contact Merris 619-818-0081 for more info.
There is a Stake Quilting Club that meets in our Primary Room every 2nd Tuesday of the month @ 9am. They would be happy to have more women come and join them!
