Our next meeting will be Thursday, Nov 13, 7:00 at the church.
We will be doing a hemming night. Bring anything you have at home that needs to be fixed/hemmed and we will work together to figure it out. If you haven't finished the aprons from last time, please bring those and we can complete them too.
This is a list of things I will be bringing. I hope this give you an idea of what you could bring too:
A missing button on a pair of pants
A hem that has come out of my husbands pants...I will show how to fix with a blind stitch on your machine, or by hand.
A slip that has lost its elasticity about the waste
A car seat cover that no longer stays on and needs a new way to be secured.
I also would like to have a conversation that night about what our next project should be. There are a few of you who have expressed and interest in leading up a project and others that have given ideas for future projects. If you have volunteered to lead up a project please email me what your idea is. See you all on two weeks.
